As a apprentice Spray Painter you will be responsible for working within a heavy production environment, prepping and painting vehicles including Fire Trucks and Ambulances to the highest quality standards while studying a Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology. Working within a team to achieve outcomes to produce high quality work.

About you:

  • Ability to use various hand and power tools including spray guns Interest in manufacturing & automotive painting and refinishing.
  • Ability to work within a team, but also be able to work autonomously.
  • Have well developed communication skills Be committed to safe working practices within the workplace.
  • Have strong mechanical aptitude with high attention to detail Have a can-do attitude and take pride in your work Want to be part of a successful team that strive to achieve results.
  • Available to work both day and afternoon shifts as required.

 Note: the recruitment process starts immediately and positions may be filled earlier; as part of the recruitment process, a medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing and an aptitude test will also be required.


To be successful in this role:

All applicants must have a current working with children check and satisfactory current police check. 


Aspiring candidates will need to undertake a Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology following a personalised training plan tailored to their needs. The training program will encompass a blend of on-the-job and off-the-job training, conducted in collaboration with a Host Employer and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.”
